I thoroughly enjoyed my 28 night stay in this hotel during November 2017. Thanks to the incredible efficiency and warm nature of the Front Office, Guest Services, F&B, Housekeeping/Laundry, and Concierge staff I would not hesitate to book another long stay in this hotel.
The location is extremely convenient with Sarinah Shopping Mall (with various bank ATMs, department store, supermarket and some specialty shops) five minutes walk away across the street via overhead bridge. Larger shopping malls are about ten minutes walk away.
The Operator staff are extremely efficient, speak clearly and always did their very best to help. Special thanks to Theresa and Kaniya.
The laundry service is excellent. Laundry left outside my room in the morning was always returned either in the evening, or very quickly the next morning by request to the front desk. This excellent laundry service was much appreciated.
The housekeeping staff do an excellent job keeping the rooms and public areas spotless. They are also extremely courteous and responsive. I often met housekeeping staff on my particular floor and plates left outside of the room were quickly cleared. Special thanks to Raissa who often worked on my floor and sometimes proactively called my room to check if I needed my room cleaned.
I ate breakfast at the breakfast buffet in The Eatery every morning. The restaurant is rather small but it is always open on time, and was never too crowded early in the morning. The chefs prepare an excellent balance between healthy options and comfort food. Everything I needed and usually eat for breakfast was there.
I also used Best Brew on an almost daily basis thanks to the excellent staff. The star of Best Brew is Andar who is a specialist preparer of drinks, and is also an incredibly knowledgeable and communicative Best Brew leader. Andar has excellent customer service abilities.
The only problem with Best Brew is that, like The Eatery, the space and seating area is so limited. The whole lobby in fact is very cramped. I would suggest that the very friendly GM Mr Boma does his best to convince the property owner to close the bank which takes so much space from the Lobby and give that space to the hotel. Best Brew could be extended and a Wrapped coffee lounge could be created if the bank was not there.
The front desk and concierge staff were very efficient. Most of my contact was with the two young Guest Relations Officers Carla and Michelle. Carla was assigned to keeping in contact with me, and proactively sought to check on my stay and chat with me whenever she saw me sitting in the lobby having a drink. Carla is an excellent Customer Service specialist.
One further suggestion I would have for this hotel would be to renegotiate their contract with the third party airport transport provider to include a meet and greet service with welcoming signboard at the Arrivals area of the airport. Some Four Points properties use their Concierge staff and hotel cars to handle airport transfers, This generally works much better than third party services. Having said that, the return airport transfer organized by the hotel Front Desk was excellent. Thank you very much indeed.
Overall a very happy and comfortable stay in a very clean and efficient business hotel, very conveniently located, and with very friendly and helpful young staff.
